Reselling tent pitch/ferry in France?

A friend cannot go on hols due to a slipped disc (worse than that but can't remember exact description). He is having to cancel his hols but has no travel insurance and so is stuck with a pitch/ferry that he cnnot use. I suggested some kind of last minute dot com website to sell it but not sure if these cover France. Any ideas?

Better check whether the ferry crossing is transferable. I would doubt that it is.
