Hi chaps, looking for recommends for eateries in florence and venice. Thinking more decent local food suitable for all the family rather than long sit downs and mega prices. Cheers.

Paradiso Perduto in Venice. I've been going for 20 years since I was introduced by a local. Everything is good, but the fish soup is amazing!

Trattoria Cibreo in florence, have been going there for years and it's always good. They have a more formal restaurant and also a caffe, make sure you get the trattoria which sounds like the experience you want.

Also in Florence, La Pentola dell'oro (formerly known as Club Alessi) for great bistecca and atmosphere.
