Mustang 5l Hire L.A?

Hi folks,

I've been looking at car rentals for a while now. I'm looking for a reputable auto rental company to rent a Mustang 5 litre for two weeks next April.

Any suggestions? Has anyone hired a mustang in LA before?

Hertz do. Part of the Adrenaline range. You'll need to be 25+ though.

Thanks lads for the replies. Unfortunately all three cars in their adrenaline range are all sold out for my dates. 21st March to 4th April.

All the other rental companies give descriptions like "Mustang Automatic OR SIMILAR"!!!

I want to know exactly what I'm getting. Surely when you're speccing such a car, you obviously care about the car and it's not simply transport.

I did find one website that gave specifics, but the prices were ridiculous in comparison to the "similar" spiels. $4000 etc.

I'm open to other cars. So if anyone has any car suggestions and places to rent. I'm all ears.

Requirements for car. Huge engine (Why not, the fuel is half the price) and enough room for one suitcase and one large holdall.

hertz is the only one i know where you get that exact car , others are always or similar

seems strange its sold out already , maybe keep looking incase theyre having a re shuffle

otherwise flyertalk.com forums have lists of the stock at each location , ask on there what company has the most mustangs then get there and ask nicley if you can get the mustang instead of a sebring or whatever

if you can find something at hertz , its pretty easy to find a discount code online and then go through quidco for a good a saving

I normally have a camaro ss convertible from hertz, this year they did the rs, amex who I book through got no where when complaining.. Two cylinders down and 120 bhp. Ok it looked identical but it really was not the same.

I can't remember the number of times I've rented through Hertz the "exact car" only to end up with something else.
