I Fancy a drive into Monaco tomorrow, as would like to see what it's like when no F1 going on, as well as drive a lap of the track, and take a look at some nice boats (I like boats!)
As well as a general walk around.

However I'm not sure where you can actually park? I'm guessing there is no on street parking etc?

So can anyone tell me where any car parks are? Anything else worth a look?

Cheers

There's quite a lot of on-street parking available (but mostly full at this time of year), but there's also a lot of underground parking.

The easiest ones to find are probably the one in the cliff under the old town (where the F1 teams park transporters and other bits and pieces that won't fit around the harbour) and the one under the Fontvielle shopping centre (if you don't mind walking to the F1 area). Fortunately, walking around Monaco is pretty easy and the public lifts and escalators remove the effort of going uphill - or get a "carte touristique" and use the local buses to get around.

12 and 9 respectively on this map : http://www.car-parking.eu/france/monaco

As above, underground car park near Casino Square - easy peasy.

As a different question - what is the deal in parking outside the Casino?

It's always a bit of a gamble.

Cheers guys, will try car park by the casino.

I'm pretty sure my Honda (s2k) won't be worthy enough to park outside the casino!

I was there last week and there is a lot of work going on around those car parks. Some may not be open I seem to remember fencing up across a few entrances.
Generally though loads of places to park and very cheap.

Only thing that is cheap wink
2 ice creams, a beer, a water and a milkshake €95 including the tip.
You're going to the wrong places if you're being charged that much.

I assume this was in the middle of the Grand Prix weekend? Otherwise, not sure where you are buying because ive always found Monaco prices for such things to be same as anywhere else in France. Probably 20-30 euro max for that lot?

6 of us had dinner last week (granted it was just a normal side of the road pizza place but it was on Saint Devote so not down some back alley) and it was only about £100 for the lot including a few beers and a bottle of wine.

Cheers guys, I managed to park in the casino underground car park.

Was very busy, but a good day. Some lovely cars/yachts/buildings.

I spent best part of an hour wandering around the car park looking at the lovely cars. Bonus was the lovely 650 tucked away right at the bottom (there was actually another by the harbour.

I may have upset some locals when I couldn't work out how to Pay to get out!
