Looking for sun and beach in late sep/early oct .......pretty much settled on Sharm.

Any suggestions for sensible priced hotels (our budget is £700 each ish for a week) that has great snorkling. Neither of us will scuba (i cant medically) but love to snorkle. Did Cozumel last year so thats set a high standard!

Can't really help with the no kids bit, we have two so we look for family places, however, we have stayed at three different hotels in Nabq bay in the last couple of years, two of which have both been on the beach, the radisson blu and the holiday village. Both had piers out into the sea and the snorkelling was great around the reefs off the end of these. I think most of the hotels along the nabq stretch have piers and snorkelling but for me the radisson was much better than the holiday village, lot more variation but also a lot deeper, hence darker pictures.

One pic from holiday village

One from radisson

There are also pretty good boat trips run from Naama, 20 quid each a day including lunch and soft drinks, visit 3 or four different sites to dive / snorkel. If you fancy this I can recommend a good local tour operator, based in Nabq, who would gladly sort you out.
