Hi everyone on here! I'm a British expat in France (19 years and counting!) coming back to England for a 2 week holiday this summer. First week staying in a hotel up in Newcastle ( see my dad), but the second week my kids ( 13/18) and i want to go camping. They'd love to camp in Sherwood Forest/visit Nottingham ( we drive by the tourist signs on the drive up the A1M every year!), and i want to show them my old region of the New Forest ( i grew up near Beaulieu).
Any recommendations for good value camp sites in these 2 places?
Taking 2 tents ( 3 man +single)
Budget £25-30 per night for a nice pitch.

Hi, there isn't as far as I'm aware a campsite in sherwood forest itself but there is one about 2miles away at Clumber Park, don't nnow much about it as we only drive by now and then, but I only live 5miles away so no need to camp there for us (we usually head to Norfolk or Lincolnshire)

There is a nice site about 20mins away in Tuxford called Orchard Park too (I store my caravan there) I'm sure they take tents and caravans too.
