Island of Tears is the monument in the middle ground and the ballet is behind the big building. I think the big building is just an apartment block, it wasn't particularly marked out on any maps.
I only had a day there because I was on a transit visa, and it was Independance Day so they were reluctant to give me a visa at all, but fancy a return trip for a proper look around.
