Island of Tears is the monument in the middle ground and the ballet is behind the big building. I think the big building is just an apartment block, it wasn't particularly marked out on any maps.
I only had a day there because I was on a transit visa, and it was Independance Day so they were reluctant to give me a visa at all, but fancy a return trip for a proper look around.
I managed to find it from a satellite smile
smile yeah, there's no street view for Belarus so probably made it a bit more difficult to narrow down.

We're in the right general area, it's quite a well known wreck if you've been.

Isn't it just north of Sharm? On a reef between the mainland and Tiran Island? Some fabulous snorkelling there but we didn't actually see the wreck.

I had a feeling it wouldn't last long.
The next one will, hopefully, be more obscure smile

I'll dive into the breach with one from last week -

Now the slightly more obscure bit - What's the name of the Pub that this was taken from?

Looks like Dunstanburgh Castle although I could easily be wrong. The only pub I could see the picture being taken from is the Inn at the harbour in Craster.

Right castle and village. The pub's called the Jolly Fisherman. Better than the name suggests smile

To be fair, I lived in Newcastle for a few years so as soon as I saw the picture I said Northumberland. After that, it was just a case of remembering where I've been over the years. It's quite a distinctive part of the country.
