I thought more people would have been to Luanda but I guess not so I'll give a clue.

There's a lighthouse not far from where the photo was taken. That should help determine the area.

I don't think anyone is likely to get it, you've got the city, may I suggest you give it to who ever guessed Luanda?

It's not exactly a popular holiday destination is it?

Surely that's on the northern shore of Luanda Bay?

You must be somewhere near Sol Maior or Marina Baia?

Ilha do Cabo, just north of Sol Maior. Lighthouse is further north along the penninsula.
Porto de Luanda would have been out of picture to the right on the other side of the bay.


I'll try and post an easy holiday snap next time.

You don't have to post an easy holiday snap, just dont expect the exact location where you were standing on the more obscure locations. I have been to Luanda but not that exact place.
