Hello,

This seems to be a grey area... If I miss an outbound Easyjet flight, can I still take the inbound flight on the booking? It is not stated in the T&Cs of booking. I phoned and the call centre employer seemed unsure but said that the flights were considered separate and I could take the inbound even having not shown up for the outbound.

Naturally I don't want to turn up and be turned down.

Does anyone have any practical experience? Ideally in the next hour!

Thanks!

Pretty sure EasyJet legs are individual flights. The prices remain the same whether they are a one way or part of a return.

Not sure on the exact requirements, but you can help your case by making sure you check in for the outbound flight (online, app, etc.) even though you're not taking it

Yes. I did it some years ago. Had return EJ trip but in the end couldn't make the outbound. Travelled out later than planned BA but still came back on original EJ flight.

Yes, work in a travel agents.

If you miss the outbound they will automatically cancel the return flight in my experience. Happened to our customers once.

Be very careful the inboard flight isn't automatically cancelled if the outbound not used. many airlines (all?) do this. I have had two experiences of having a member of our travel party travelling later on the outbound by their own means. Each time we had to inform the airline that the return flight would be used and they said they made a note?
But lots of worry in case the seat was gone.

I'm pretty sure I've seen offers for return flights with one leg only on EJ, although I don't recall doing it with them (I have other airlines)

I don't see why they'd be tied together.
