No problems so far on the autoroute. The total service station of the French side of Eurotunnel had no fuel.
Pleased to hear it smile Which route are you taking?
Successful trip, filled up twice in France no issues no queues. Two stations had run out of fuel, both near Calais. I drove to the Alps via Reims Dijon Geneva.

No problems so far for petrol in the SW. Diesel is another matter.

Passed several service stations today with 'PAS DE GASOIL' Prominently displayed.

I got back from France at the weekend. We stopped twice in Northern France. Unleaded was generally OK and available. Diesel was being limited to 20 litres

8 hours but we took a couple of hour stops, arrived at hotel and other Brits said they all had no problems on toll road, apparently the French don't like to pay extra on motorways and they like to pay cash so like the back street garages! I filled up twice and apart from the one out of the tunnel and one that was sign posted closed about 45km south no probs or restrictions seen..so stick to toll roads!

Yes, I don't think any of the panic buyers will go to the motorway service stations because a) they are much more expensive and b) you have to pay to get to them.

My friend in northern France was able to fill up at his local Carrefour last night but the price had increased by six cents a litre to 1.15 for diesel.

Just driven up from the South as said, no problems on the toll roads and camped next to a supermarket which has fuel

got to provence but not had a chance to check local fuel yet, St Maxime is probably the closest big town so will test the water tomorrow, got half a tank. The only issue we had getting fuel was some prick in a Continental GT pushing in at the Shell services outside just before the Euro tunnel. Shame it took him 15 minutes to slowly leave the station afterwards....

I use the Tesco at Cheriton, just by the M20 at Jn. 12 opposite the tunnel terminal and it stocks 99RON Momentum.

Do many many French stations sell super unleaded. I've normally been in diesel cars so i've not taken much notice

Is that garage 24 hours Riley?
I stay at a hotel just near it when I head to Europe, might use it very early just before I board.

I had to laugh at a newsclip at the weekend, a senior French Policeman being filmed in front of a fuel blockade where they were burning an enormous heap of tyres right outside a fuel depot. He was warning 'ze Breetish' not to bring fuel in cans in their as it was illegal and it would be confiscated and they would be arrested. Talk about getting your priorities right.
