Change £ to $ in NYC

I'm off to NYC for a few days start of Aug for a bit of business then flying to Vegas for some gambling. Dollar is s
t at the moment but looks to be picking up a bit today.
Everything will be put on Amex apart from bar drinking and casino money which will be around $10,000. Do I:
1. Change it before the vote on Thursday - if we do vote to leave then pound will fall in the short term I guess
2. Change it after the vote, hoping the dollar will pick up
3. Take sterling and change it over in the states - must get a better exchange rate over there
