I'm off to Italy in a couple of weeks, does anyone know if I can buy the Swiss toll sticker thing online anywhere? Just one less thing to have to stop and faff about for on the way, first day driving is 13 hours so would rather as little stoppage as possible.

Cheers

We drove to Italy and back via Switzerland. Really is worth buying on line. Mine came within 3 days and meant we could just drive straight through. Pleased we did as you have to stop and go in and buy one and we could see the place was mobbed.

Went to Zurich from Stuttgart last year. Almost as soon as we entered Switzerland we had to take a specific lane to buy a vignette. Might be more difficult if not entering via motorway, but it took no time. Cost was €50

Thank you guys, I've ordered one from there.

I know it'll only take a stop on the way in but I really want to get as much sorted before as I can, as I say, 13 hours driving I really want to make it as simple as possible. It'll be hard enough with the Mrs doing the tolls on the way lol.

The transponder from Sanef is a great thing to have for France. I've had mine for 6 years.

You can also get a separate transponder for Italy in the UK....not sure it covers the whole country though.

tolltickets.com - bought mine from there the last few times, but exchange rates might not make them as competitive as buying direct anymore.
