Hotel in Capetown
Discussion
Anyone here got any recommendations for a hotel in Capetown? We're visiting relatives in Napier in a couple of months, but will spend a couple of nights in the city before/after. Budget not really an issue, but I can't be doing with poncy Waldorf-type formal hotels, preferring a more laid-back place.
And while we're at it; any good bars?

This place was good when we stayed a night on our honeymoon.

I'd recommend the Table Bay on the V&A waterfront, cracking food and I felt relaxed there. Classy but not overly formal, Cape Town's not that big so there's not a bad location but it depends on where you want to be.

The Camps Bay area is lovely too but I've not got a hotel recommendation for there i'm afraid!
