Am off to Vegas in Jan, and have always wanted to fire some "real" guns.

I understand there are some Ranges in Vegas which allow us Brits to have a play.

I would like to have a play on a variety, preferably a standard hand gun (9mm), sub machine (Uzi), assault rifle (AK47) Etc.

Has anyone done this, and can recommend a venue in Vegas?

Cheers

The Gun Store is the traditional and popular one, and they have all of the weapons you mention... go early or expect a long wait. However, they have also ramped their prices significantly in recent years, and you used to be able to share clips/ammo, say between two of you and now you can't.

There are plenty of others around though - some outdoor ones too if you head out of the city.

We did Machine Guns Vegas.
Fired an AR15, Desert Eagle and an (alleged D-day veteran) 1942 Thomson.
Mrs CFK had a pop with a Beretta 9mm thingy and an Uzi.

The Range 702 was good, used to be behind Caesars but was in the process of moving last time I was there,

American shooters is my favorite though, much better value for money than more commercial ones, hire the gun and then buy the rounds as opposed to the package deals most offer

Thanks guys, yes outdoors would be ideal, not worried about sharing rounds (i will be on my own).

Machine gun Vegas looks good, the 300 dollar package looks good

Although i would guess 25 rounds go in no time shoot

Offer a good tip and they might ask if you'd like a few more rounds ;-)

We did Battlefield Vegas last year, and it was great. Ring up the morning, they collect you in a hummer, and were in with only a very short wait. And they seemed to have pretty much every gun, perhaps a bit short on the revolver front but you'd have to be a conniseur to notice. Indoors though.

Bullets and burgers is great, they had .50 cal rifles available and you used to get a free trip around their dirt track in their monster truck. It's just over state lines in Arizona but a minibus will collect you from your hotel.

Battlefield Vegas, and they do a load of stuff through Groupon as well.
