Bit of a special treat for Mrs A so not cheap necessarily.

Either 3hrs max drive or fly from Bristol 10th - 14th December.

All sensible suggestions considered.....many thanks Alf.

Depends on what kind of thing your looking for.

Not too far the OH and I went to Lymington, stayed at a place called the mayflower. http://www.themayflowerlymington.co.uk.

We enjoyed it, day trip and a wander around the Isle of white as the ferry is close.

Food was very nice, both breakfast and evening meals.

Plus point also, although I didn't manage to get there, is that it is nice and close to Beaulieu Motor Museum.

Many thanks......seem to be getting the same problem elsewhere that the 10th is fully booked but definitely our kind of thing.

Southern spain is nice this time of year, out of season so a few places might be shut but cheap and not too packed with nice balmy temps.

Marbella is somewhere me and mrs hairy intend to go back, after spending a day there on a holiday with the inlaws.

Thanks gents

No direct flights to Grenada from Bristol.

Southern Portugal many times but never Lisbon....there is a direct flight so a definite possibility,

Been looking at this as well.....enough to do for 4 nights? - Sunborn Gibraltar
