I'd be grateful for recommendations of hotels in central Krakow.

This is for my wife and a female friend on a long weekend in March.

Here are my criteria in order of importance.

1) Safe hotel in safe location.
2) Clean.
3) Central or close to some sights and restaurants / bars.
4) Not an international chain.
5) A bar or lounge in or close (they will arrive some time apart).
6) Decent value.

Thanks. smile

I've stayed in the Hotel Saski a few times & seems to tick all the criteria you've listed.

We stayed here a couple of years ago.

Very close (10 minutes)to main square, clean, sensibly priced.

I stayed at the Queen Boutique hotel which was very nice, but a short walk from the Stare Miastro.

We walked all over and never once felt uneasy, even late at night.

Great location, just right off the main square.

Located next to the train station, a short walk to the main square.

Both are good hotels.

Andels is my regular Krakow hotel. In fact I stayed there on Monday of this week.

Comfortable but not in your face. €100 for the night including breakfast

We stayed in the Puro earlier this year, good, modern, next to the main station & short walk to the main square.
