Long Term Winter Sun holiday

I am looking for suggestions for winter sun destinations.

About 4 to 8 weeks away. From, say, about now to middle of February, or possibly March. If I am too late for this year, no matter, there is always next year.

Must be warm enough for walking around in shorts and t shirt, with open air swimming. So I am guessing that Europe won't be warm enough.

Full board, or half board? Not sure.

Any ideas, please.

I'd be looking at Pert / Sydney at the moment.

Asia is generally all thunderstorms and yuk at this time of year

Would I get bored?

Depends what you like!!!!

If you like Moroccan things, then you won't get bored. If you don't, you probably will get bored...

The Caribbean is the place this time of year, but it is expensive.

I am in Marbella for the next 12 weeks, some people do wear shorts, but the sea temperature is 15degC at best and any unheard pool will not be warm enough until May.

Friends in the Canaries have heated pools and so that would meet your criteria. Because the islands are small they are fine for a 2-week break, but claustrophobic over a longer period.

North Africa is similar, but is clearly a more hostile environment, Cape Verdi is perhaps another option?

Lots of destinations available, Canaries (a few weeks on each island), Florida, Caribbean really does depend on budget.

If you like wine (and animals etc) take a look at South Africa - we did it for 3 weeks from boxing g day last year - epic - with daily temperatures +30*
