Loved this last year but we've missed out on booking the same place this year so we'd like to try a change. Anywhere similar elsewhere.

Shortish flights from UK.
Not too hot at end of June.
Quiet with no nightlife except for food.
Nice walking and cycling.
Not too arid, plenty of trees.
Preferably speak Spanish or French as I like to chat to locals.
Most important, small quiet coves for swimming and snorkelling.

Any suggestions?

There are some quiet parts on Majorca, not that I have been there. There was never masses to do in galdana last time we went.

Try Binebeca if you want a small picturesque town - not that far from Mahon either. I grew up travelling to Cala'n Bosch 2-3 times a year which changed a lot but would also be worth a look. The harbour only has a few bars and restaurants. If you don't want to stay that close to the harbour, try Son Xoriguer or a complex out near Cap d'Artrutx - only a 15 min walk to the main harbour.

Pollenca, Northern Mallorca is stunning. Head for the old town, rather than the Port. There's a good mix of locals and visitors but it never loses its roots
