Opatija is a winter destination on the coast in Istria. I think they have a big chocolate festival. Didn't get over to that side of Istria when we went a couple of years ago, but we're keen to try it out at some point.

Back there next week again for more dental work - last time I hope. Have had implants done there over the last five or so years in Rovinj - 20 miles north of Pula (where I fly into this time of year) ...

Great place to go for a week - teeth or not. Stayed at the Lone in Rovinj last time ...

Great food, weather, people, what's not to like really.
