Mustang/Camero car hire Orlando

We are there for a week in March near Universal, I want to drive out to the Kennedy Space Centre. Any recommendations for hiring one of these? Had a V6 Mustang in Vegas a few years back and it was a good laugh. Cheers.

Think of a rental company - any rental company. Your question is rather like me asking, "I'm coming to the UK. Where can I rent an Astra or a Focus?"

Unless you want an 8 cyl, you can rent these cars absolutely anywhere.

(It's Camaro, by the way).

if you want to guarantee a certain car, book one from the Hertz Adrenaline collection.

Any other company will say "Mustang or equivalent" and it almost certainly won't be.

Every other hire car around there is a Mustang.

If you can, get a Camaro SS. I did almost 3k miles in this brute last year, the noise of that 6.2 V8 never got old



Was through Avis, btw. We had a V6 Mustang for a couple of days at the beginning which was pretty nice, but managed to swap it out at another Avis location with no fuss at all. Camaro was less refined, but way cooler. It got a lot of comments!

Thanks all. Writing this from the hotel in Orlando, picking up a Mustang (or similar) on Sunday. Ignore the news, it's blistering hot here today! Although the locals would have you believe they've happened across an unexpected ice age...

Nice choice; I hired one last year - wasn't sure about the metallic green but by the end of the holiday it really grew on me.

We usually go to Orlando with Virgin Holidays. The rental company always has V6 Camaros, Mustangs and Challengers. I just upgrade at the desk if the deal is good and take my pick in the parking garage.
