If in the wrong place mods please move.

So planning to do the North Coast 500 this Easter, wondering if anybody has already completed & if there are any recommended places to stay? On a bit of a budget so trying to be sensible with this one.

Any other recommendations welcome

Have a look on here, there's a useful interactive map; http://www.northcoast500.com/.
The Highlands thread in GG (Roads) is also a wealth of information
Having done it before I stick to the West Coast these days as I prefer the scenery. I know it's subjective but you might consider any of these for that area:
Applecross Inn (on the Applecross loop)
Torridon Inn
Kylesku Hotel (further north in Sutherland)

Book hotels soon. They get very full, very quickly these days.

Brilliant cheers for the updates, will be scrolling through the other thread, had the idea of skipping B&Bs and just going for camping instead, not sure how that will go down with the Mrs though

Free campsites (with some facilities) at Torridon & Shieldaig, (others further north) and wild camping is legal all over the Highlands.

Check Airbnb. There are some really cool properties in that part of the world and reasonable too.

I've stayed in multiple places up there. You don't half get some right weirdos running conventional B and Bs.
