Wow, can't believe I'm actually going to post in the holidays section! Hubster and I are looking for a holiday (3rd in 20 years!) now that we've almost finished the house. I basically want to lie in the sun drinking beer, do a bit of snorkelling, fishing, more beer drinking. I also want a tan. It's either all inclusive hotel (with not too many people, we're pretty antisocial) or rent a villa somewhere, with a pool, close (walking distance) to local restaurants, beach, etc. We both love Greek food (well, actually, any food) and tennis would be good too. Anyone got any ideas? No kids, either with us, or in close proximity.
We did find one we liked the look of, but at £8K for the week, and not being powerfully built company directors, it was a tad rich wink
Thanks in advance

You might find the weather hasn't settled down properly in Greece in April. Once spent a week on the Peloponnese coast in April, beautiful warm sunny days and absolutely freezing at night, I mean properly cold and no heating, several nights we went to bed fully clothed.

We went to Zante in early May one year and even though it was good sunbathing weather (think a good summer's day here rather than a scorcher) the pool and sea were still far too cold for me to venture into!

Have you tried Neilson holidays? Buca Beachclub opens 29th April, is an adult only hotel (but does share watersports, tennis, cycling etc.) facilities with the neighbouring Messini beachclub.

About £750 per person, all breakfasts & lunches included. Half the dinners included, the other half you're encouraged to try local restaurants. Watersports, cycling, tennis, fitness classes etc. included.
