Every hotel has tons of parking. For cheap on the strip, look at Circus Circus. Not the most salubrious digs but not expensive either.

Have a look at the Hampton Inn chain. We've used the one on Tropicana (just off strip) a few times and it's always been great. Alternatively try one of the last minute booking sites such as Hotwire.

Most hotels in Vegas are 'cheap'. The difference is made up from the money you lose at gambling.

Circus Circus is the cheapest hotel on the strip, only downside is that it's right at the far end towards The Stratosphere

How cheap is cheap? Stayed at the MGM grand midweek for $50 a night. Most hotels will have ludicrously low rates midweek.

The Orleans is decent, cheap and not far off Strip (free Shuttle bus available).

Otherwise, head Downtown which is a destination in its own right.

Make sure to include the resort fee for the resorts. It can double the price of the cheaper rooms. It was around $32 per night at the Luxor and the room rate was $29 plus tax. All of the MGM Resorts are charging for parking now which can be as expensive as the resort fee.

We stayed at the MGM grand for a couple of nights in September 2014. Pre booked as part of a driving holiday and cost something like $30 per night, maybe less. Second biggest hotel in the world, the corridors are so long you can hardly se the end.

We stayed in the Gold Coast, just above the Rio hotel, Cheap, quiet and they run a courtesy coach down to the strip every 15 minutes or so.

We stayed at the Luxor for $45 a night including tax.

Admittedly I'm not sure how we got it that cheap as it always seems a lot more expensive when I check now. We also got upgraded (although I'm sure that happens more often than not).

Bally's was cheap when I went there. Under 50$ for a huge room. Central strip location is pretty good too as most of the other main hotels are within walking distance

Other downside is its fking grim.

Go midweek, stay in most decent places for $50-90 a night

We stay in the vdara... just behind the bellagio and aria in a really central location - it's also no smoking without a casino so smells great.

Admittedly it's not anywhere as cheap as circus, Luxor etc, but it's right slap in the centre of the strip and is linked to the bellagio via a 5min tunnel.

What's so grim? I thought it was decent in 2013.

Circus Circus is indeed a sh*t hole! and it's miles away from the main strip.

Another vote here for Vdara - fantastic place.
