Self catering, Nice, Villefranche, Antibes etc

Does anyone have any tips on good places? Ideally somewhere inexpensive, not too far from the beach and close-ish to a train station but I guess that's probably a 'pick two of those three' kind of question.

We'll be travelling with a 4 year old, and a 4 week old, hence the desire for something self-contained, I guess a mobile home type place is most likely to do the job as the older child needs his own bedroom. A pool would be great but in late April I guess the weather could be a bit hit or miss so this isn't vital.

I know the St Tropez area fairly well but I'm not so good further East and I want to shorten the drive so stay as close as possible to the Italian border.
