Hi All,

I am taking my girlfriend for a night away for her birthday in North Norfolk as she hasn't visited that part of the country before.

We will be staying in the Burnham area.

I thought it would be nice to see the seals at the beach but I understand that April isn't the best time, will there be a chance of viewing them at one of the beaches or is it a wasted venture?

Any other activities or recommendations for the North Norfolk coast on the weekend of 14-16th of April would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You could try one of the seal boat trip outfits at Blakeney to see if they are in season.

Make sure you eat plenty of welks.

A nice walk along blakeney point is Allways a good appetite maker.

Walk or drive out of Wells next the Sea up to the coastguard hut and car park and onto the beach. Follow the river as it crosses the beach towards the sea and chances are you'll see some.

I spend a fair amount of time in N Norfolk. When I'm there I usually walk my friend's mutt daily along the beach from Weybourne to Cromer, and I see seals nearly every time, all thru the year.
