I got back on Saturday after a week there. 26C+ every day, a little cooler in the evenings but very nice. We had a great week and fingers crossed you do too.

Another hotel video up, this time inside
Just watched that and very excited now. If they have the staff, it looks like it will be great. Soon find out.Looks like its a proper 4 star not a mickey mouse one from Adeje.
No royal level all inclusive a-la-carte option according to the audio towards the end? Not a big deal for me personally but that's probably a differentiator between this one and their 5 star offerings. Royal level pool bar and the sheer size of the hotel should offset that. It has a sports bar.
Can't wait to visit it.
The main problem with Lanza in December is the wind speed so keep an eye on the wind speed forecast.
Watched the walkaround video earlier - looks very nice but I just have a bit of an issue with rooms that have no door into the bath/shower area - doesn't seem ideal for families? e.g. the Junior Suite at 10m10s.
At least they put a bog door in I suppose

True.
I was thinking about the demographic the last time we were there, as much as the # of 'pubs'. Maybe we just got a little unlucky with timing.
I always thought PB was a bit more respectable as well and don't get me wrong I love an English pub, its good to watch the football you can get a decent happy hour priced pint or two in there, I also love a treat with a fry up occasionally. What I have an issue with is seeing brits everywhere, and certainly ones dressed like they've just come out of sports direct, If I wanted that I'd go down my own high street.
Weather is never ever an issue though and bliss to be in your own villa pool with a tinny in 25 degree November.
We're just back from a last minute week on Tenerife - not our usual type of holiday but thought we'd give it a try.
Rented an apartment in Costa Adeje and hired a car for the week to get out and about. Found the whole Los Cristianos/Las Americas/Adeje area pretty grim in general and seemed much more expensive than Fuerteventura did earlier this year but did find a few places that are worth checking out if you're there.
Car hire - Sanasty - great hassle free service, nice clean nearly new VW Taigo was waiting for us in the airport car park and we just had to drop into the office to pay when we were passing. No messing around with queues or paperwork when we arrived.
Pizza bar Tijuana - pretty unassuming little rock bar tucked down a side street in Las Americas but great atmosphere with friendly staff, low prices and some of the best pizza I've had anywhere in the world.

Coqueluche beach bar - great little beach bar with friendly staff, nice food and a really chilled out vibe. There was a great band on doing reggae covers and a steady stream of paragliders landing on the beach in front.

Restaurante El Guanche - chilled tapas on terraces overlooking the amazing scenery of Masca, beautiful mountain road to get there, definitely worth a look if you have a car

Natural swimming pools - after a few days we were a bit bored so decided to go and explore some of the island's natural rock swimming pools. Google brought up a list and we set off, seeing about half a dozen over a few days. They were all spectacular - so much more interesting than sitting packed on a beach and definitely worth the effort. Bring a snorkel and there was loads to see - just watch out for breaking waves if there's much of a swell.
