Mrs Digga book us in there if we're getting a little overwrought. We've never stayed - it's only down the road - but even as dya guests, it's very relaxing.

To be recommended; spending the morning going balls-out in the gym/spinning/swimming and the afternoon with a meditation class and a massage.

Trip to Bath? Lots of Spa hotels, good shopping (for her), good pubs and restaurants. I'd look at the Royal Crescent, the Priory, the Bath Spa, Haringtons hotels.

As far as I'm aware he's booked in there for September, after blowing copious amounts of currency on expensive booze, nose talc and spaffing on posh women.

10p, this being single thing is pricey. Whereas ex-Lady F seemed very happy monging around at home with a glass of champers, something a bit more involved seems to be better for naughty weekends away with new ladies.

Lot of great suggestions on this thread - thanks; keep them coming!

Prefer the ones (like Babington) where decor is a bit more modern, and less "traditional country house"...

Another vote for http://www.careysmanor.com/ - several different themed spa rooms with associated treatments - kept her quiet all through an afternoon's rugby during the last world cup and earned enough brownie points for a visit to Beaulieu wink

Nice French restaurant attached too.

It is not as good as it was, looking a little tired, last time I was there the towels were damp and the therapist smelt of stale smoke.

added bonus that the castle was also the set of some prominant films...

Hammer House used it alot, and more importantly - Frank N Furter's castle...

so you'll both be quite at home running round in your undies smile

It's tips like that I need Zen - want the place to be toop notch; and the websites tell you nothig, and even review ebsites aren't that reliable, I find.

http://www.clivedenhouse.co.uk/

If you can stretch to it, go with Cliveden; loads of stories and modern history/scandal to be had.

Any of these mate, you'll be the dogs conkers.
