The Sheraton is centrally placed, not the prettiest hotel but the spa is on the roof!

I can think of a couple of places near Perth which is about an hours drive North of Edinburgh. I think you'll struggle to find somewhere suitable really close to Edinburgh at such short notice.

Yeah. However, if I don't come up with something suitable for this weekend, I will get a massive "I told you so" routine from the mrs, since she's been asking for this for at least two months warning me that by the time I pull the trigger everything will be fully booked.

So you see I am at a point where I really, REALLY, need to find something suitable.

Look on the brightside, at least your OH knows you very well. That has to be of some comfort...
