Anyone got any?

I'm away with work tomorrow evening for a week and a bit and I need somewhere to park the car - would prefer off-site as it's a hell of a lot cheaper than the £77 that the official car park wants. rolleyes
I've seen a couple of meet & greet type things, which means no shuttle bus from an external car park, which sound appealing.

We normally fly from Leeds and use Sentinel, so something similar to that is fine.

Company is paying, so it doesn't have to be the cheapest option. wink

These weren't too bad. Check if you are in the AA, IAM or a professional association as they quite often do discounts.

if its an evening flight this is of no use whatsoever, but could be handy for others. flying from manc on a morning, book into one of the hotels. i usually pay £60-65 for a double room with breakfast and that comes with free parking for the duration of your trip. slightly cheaper than a week in the ncp, miles cheaper than the cost for a fortnight, you miss the early morning rush to the airport and get a full english to boot!

if you're really tight, park up in a side street near one of the train stations and paying a couple of quid for the rest of the journey.

That is a good shout Shirt. If you treat it like a week or two weeks parking with added B&B then it works quite well.

I can get you a single room at a hotel near the airport tomorrow with 7 days off-airport secure parking for £61 or for 15 days parking it's £68.

Parking only I can do Airparks for 10 days at £2.80 a day secure off-airport or a meet and Greet service is £4.42 per day! The parking actually includes a free transfer (25 minutes from airport) too.

I can get them booked in for you easy enough mate, just need the car details smile
Drop me an email to ben.hobson@statravel.co.uk if you want me to get it sorted smile

I use this place, it's a self-park, which means you take your keys with you....always a good idea as far as i'm concerned!

It's as safe as any other, free shuttle bus, comes and collects on a phonecall.....and as cheap as I've found for a week or two weeks.....some bad reviews, but i've never had a problem!

I'm hiring a car to Manchester on a one way rental. Doing the same when I come back. Depending on what car you wat, it works out cheaper and no worry about what's happening to your car.

This time I'm doing a deal with the Crowne Plaza hotel (terminal 3) £89 for 15 nights parking and one night in the hotel as the flight comes in late smile

Cheers Ben, but have booked it on the aph.com site suggested by A2Z above - meet & greet service with Autostrong (terrible name) for £43.50 for 9 days I need.

Cheers for all the advice, everyone. smile

Parked at Manchester Airport car park last year for two weeks and only cost £30 booked online a month in advance. All the stories I'd heard had me expecting to pay 100s

If it works like it used to a friend of mine said if you've got access to another car you can leave your motor in the short stay parking, then drive the other car to the barrier, take a ticket, then back up and drive up to the barrier again, take another ticket and then drive both of the cars out for 4 quid...

I use Manchester airport a lot, and recommend "Premier" car park..On site, just a free five minute shuttle bus ride away from all the three terminals.....very secure, and normally around £45 a week......

Opt in to their emails and they regularly send discount codes. There's one on now for 20% (ends tomorrow) MANFLASHSALE17

Stick in your dates and it will give you the costs for each parking site and you can make your own decision. We normally use either the multi-storey or the long stay.
