Visited quite a few US States, the diversity of climate and landscapes within one country is quite amazing.
...and this explains the often quoted line about only 10% of Americans have a passport blah blah... They can experience almost any kind of environment without ever leaving their own country.

Have to say if I lived there I would rarely if ever leave the country, it would take me years just to get around the sites I want to see there.

Mine must be around 50, but I've never bothered to count them all. I suppose I could go through all my old passports...
Yes you could. Or do what everyone else has done and think which is much easier!

Won't list them all, total appears to be 58. Some of the more out of the way ones are Botswana, Malawi, Jordan, Syria, Swaziland, and one of my favourites....Norfolk Island.

Driven a car in 48 of them.

Driving from London to Cape Town helps with the tally - and a two week trip by car round The Baltic adds another ten.

I'm 22. Only 8; that's a pretty poor show, although IMO all the above countries are good to visit. (If you don't smoke/drink, perhaps disregard Belgium.)

Hoping to add Gambia this year.
