I remember an article about a purple Marcos Mantis Coupe from Performance Cars.

Whatever became of the car?

It's currently listed at Redline Sportscars, the specialist Marcos Dealer

It will sell very quickly. Better looking as a coupe.

I tried looking for a copy of the PC article online and couldn't find it.

The American car is a track car, unlike the car at Redline which is a very rare road car. The car at Redline was owned by a Senior Marcos employee with intimate knowledge about how these cars were built and should be maintained. It is a cracking car maintained to the highest standard with every conceivable extra.
