As far as I know they're owned by Eurotech in the Netherlands. Were they affected by the bankruptcy of Marcos UK?

Also, who owns the original red-and-white Marcos logo? When the company went bankrupt I think in 2000 before Stelliga took over, the original logo was sold to Eurotech. When Stelliga got on the board in the mid-2000s or whenever it was, they drafted a new blue logo with the red "69" on it (you can see these in pictures of Marcasite prototypes).

So when Stelliga resurrected the company, did he buy the logo back, seeing that the TSO and later cars had the original logo? Did he not? Now that the company has folded, did the logo's ownership go back to Eurotech or is it just sort of...floating out there somewhere? As a Marcos fan I'm wondering just what exactly happened there, the logo switch thing they had at the beginning of their "new life" was very mysterious/confusing...

Isn't Cor Euser still racing a Marcos LM500 in the Belcar series?

There's quite a few Marcos still racing. Topcats run one in Britcar. I'm sure I've seen an ex-British GT one out in the LMA Eurosaloons too.

thats right, the racing name was sold off. The manufacturing name was retained by jem marsh as they built a new car afew years back, and his son chris is now behind another britsh supercar (no doubt with his fathers backing) being built up in bath. And a chap down here in wiltshire Roary McMath still owns the Marcos name which he bought for a quid! This entitles him to marcos sales and he still specialises in sales out of a farm building in just outside semington, in wiltshire!
We've had a few dealings with Roary and a chap I know used to work for the racing team when it was up and running and has some pretty good stories about when they were down at Le Mans etc!!

So McMath has the name but Stelliga has the logo? Or does Stelliga not? How did Stelliga build the TSO and such then? Did he get McMath's permission, or is that why the "new" Marcos is known in the press as "Marcos Engineering," to sidestep McMath's ownership of the name...?

Rory MsMath runs Marcos Heritage Spares http://www.rory.uk.com/ which supplies all things Marcos as well as servicing and restoring the Marcos cars that are still on the road.

Jeremy Kearns of Redline Sportscars http://www.redlinesportscars.com/ specialises the sale of Marcos cars and at any time will have the majority of the marcos cars that are on the market on his books.

The LMA Eurosaloons car is raced by Doug Ellwood of David Gerald Sportscars in Worcs (TVR and Marcos dealership). He is lying second in his class at the moment.

So Jem Marsh has the "manufacturing" name, Roary has...what? Just the name Marcos? or what? So then in either case, what does Stelliga have? A new name just called "Marcos Engineering" ?

Does Eurotech's racing division have a website or something? I'd be interested in contacting someone there about this, if any Marcos namesakes/logos are available for purchase I'd be greatly interested...

Do you want to start a new company?

I think Stelliga has Marcos Engineering Limited (whats left of it) as well as the IPR for the TSO etc.

Maybe you could do a company search of ltd companies in the UK or contact Rory he would probably know who owns what.
