If you can't fathom the notion of nothing after death try and think of the time before you were born. You don't remember it, you don't feel anything and there is just no existence. That's what awaits after the last electrical impulse has fizzled out. Life after death or any other immortality would be an infinite curse! Just be good in the short time you have and enjoy it.
Thank you.

I can't remember half the time I've been alive.

I have trouble remembering what I did last week, let alone what I did before I was born.

God squad here - what did I miss....

Don't tell me, a load of angry people telling me why I'm an idiot, or using words that describe me as mentally incompotent.

Shame really as all I do is tell everyone how nice it is and, no matter how horrible you are we still love you.

As the Dude says - take it easy man!

Not really, just some normal people discussing the fact that when you're dead, you're dead.

It's okay you don't have to start on me already....

All I was saying was that comments like - fairy story, and pixies at the bottom of the garden would suggest, to most I would guess, that what they are commenting on they would feel that should I believe in it - I would be foolish....

Now if you want to have a reasoned argument, with someone who genuining belives in Christianity, following a long period of consideration then that's grand.

Is all smile

There's nothing to argue about, unless you have some evidence to the contrary?

Do you?

No-one is "starting on you".

But I'd love to hear your recollections on what happened to you before you were born.

And what you think happens after you die, your impression of heaven and hell. Also your thoughts on the process of how a developing baby created through well understood biological process from the cells of its parents is permeated with an immortal and sacred soul.

Before one existed, you mean? That would be a neat trick.

"Immortal and sacred soul"?

A spermatozoon, the male gamete, joins an ovum to form a zygote. Thus an embryo is formed and a baybee is born.

Seventy or so years later, that baybee dies.

Why do I have to prove evidence for - when you can not prove against?

Stephen Hawking has an opinion, people agree with him, others do not.

He has no evidence that heaven does not exist, however, interestingly as a Christian we have a great deal of evidence that Jesus existed.

In addition we have a number of hostile witnesses to the resurrection.

I fully understand that many people do not want to consider these things and that is their right.

It is however my right to believe and not to be made to defend myself to someone who can offer no other evidence to the contrary.

If people want a serious discussion fine, if not no worries!

Brilliant trolling.

You believe in a God.

I believe you're a moron.

About as neat as life after death really.
