The most interesting thing about that webcam is the number of drivers it reveals, drivers who have absolutely no respect whatsoever for rights of way on a pedestrian crossing.

And people say that cyclists break rules. I just watched it for 3-4 minutes, saw about 10 people use the crossing normally, and not a single motorist waited until they'd cleared the crossing before setting off.

Just watched some muppet for literally about 15 minutes going back and forth while his mate stood out in the abyss in front of countless trying to get the perfect shot.

Mental.

They need a sign saying something along the lines of;

"Don't be a and stand near the crossing unless you intend to use it, you bunch of cock knockers."

Or something similar.

It does amuse me when somebody is stood waiting to strike a pose and a car stops, forcing them to cross for no reason hehe

I would imagine that drivers who go along there regularly must get fed up with slowing down only for the stupid idiots at the side of the road to just stand there like muppets.

It's strangely compelling to watch.

Did anyone else see the white car/van lock up as he last minute braked for the left hand turn?

People are tts. Walking 6 foot into the road and stopping in front of a bin lorry?

God forbid something was to happen to their precious little daughter while mum takes a photo; how would she explain that one away? Muppets.

Just been watching it for a few minutes. Two near misses or should that be 'near hits'? One numpty stood in the middle of the road to take a photo of his/her friend walking across then walked back to the kerb inches in front of an oncoming car, a cyclist just rode through at speed with a pedestrian half way across and very little of the traffic stops for pedestriand stood at the crossing - not really surprsing given the number who step back and don't cross.

If ever a cross should be traffic light controlled, it's this one - and that gatepost needs a PH sticker (on the top of the nearest one where it won't be spotted and removed).
