Look how he's holding the steering wheel!

I hope that road was closed for him to be driving like that...

That's the first time I've seen someone trying to drive fast assuming the age old 11 and 1 hand position. rofl

He looks like he's sitting forward too, not in the seat back, as you can see a lot of his back which is odd.

This is why I always try to drive as fast as I know I am capable of... Also, it doesn't help that I'm a fond of old lightweight cars which could be smashed to pieces in the tiniest drive off accidents...

Me and my wife's Wedding March song.

Mrs SpeedMattersNot is a music teacher and loves Star Wars, so she asked her amazing organist friend if he could do anything with the Star Wars Throne Room March - and he came up with the goods!

Does the fact the tow rope is higher on the steam engine help it at all?
It will help, yes. But the main thing is that the steam engine weighs a lot lot more than the tractor.
Also add the torque from a steam engine is huge compared to any combustion engine. They may not be fast, but I'm pretty sure if you line up enough steam engine and 'floored' them, they could make the world spin the other way!

Erm, why didn't he turn the steering wheel more? Great camera angle and quality though, just lucky for him it was just scrubland and rocks - tree = dead!

Don't think his front tyres were actually in contact with the road so I don't think it mattered how much lock he had on!
