So, I thought I would have a look around the darker recesses of the PH forums and stumbled across the lounge and some truly epic threads. This one seems to be a bit like a soap, read the first few and last few pages, a few of the same characters, similar stories and think I got an idea of the middle 480 pages from "The Mental" thread :-)

I got divorced last year after being with her for 14 years. It definitely takes a bit of getting used to after being with someone that long, but it does get better! When you're ready have a bit of fun and enjoy being single for a bit. Try not to jump into another serious relationship though striaght away though...

It does definitely get better, but be prepared for things to turn from weird to absolutely awful for a while.
I found the first few days wasn't all that bad because my brain hadn't processed it properly.

I had some previously unrealised fantasies appear after divorce. Great times. There's still a few more to try, and thankfully I'm in no hurry to try and follow them through, got plenty of time.
