USB A connectors. Looks like it should work either way up. Doesn't. Have to peer into the end of the cable and then into the socket. Designed by an idiot. Or the same sociopath as before.
If the socket is the right way up, then the plug should have the USB symbol moulded into its top side CommanderJameson said:

And for vertically aligned sockets? Does sir's USB port dress to the left, or the right?

And another thing, people saying things of differnent mass always fall at the same rate (always they are at it with the hammer and the feather) - even in a science magazine last month they were saying this. Don't get me started on how this is just completely wrong.
You might not like it,but that doesn't stop it being true. What you are ignoring is that the big heavy stuff has greater inertia - little thing less attracted but happier to accelerate, big thing more attracted but less inclined to move or stop moving; effects precisely cancel.Papa Hotel said:
The Oliver Pistorius thread.
It's a big story, a huge icon of the Olympics has done something very naughty indeed, of course it's going to be discussed. The stupid poems and the rest of the bile in the thread is a poor reflection on Pistonheads.

IDGAF, so he (allegedly!)shot his gf. just because he is high profile, in some peoples eyes, why does it warrant so much attention?
I just don't get it.
Why would any murder be seen as newsworthy? There'll always be someone who doesn't give a st. I'd suggest the media tends to report what's in the sphere of public interest. The fact that this story is getting coverage points to more people finding it interesting than not. It's probably not getting too much coverage in rural Pakistan, so maybe you're right. I just don't get it.
