The fact that the French word for battery is "piles".

Yes, yes, I know that Alessandro Volta invented the battery and originally they were known as voltaic piles (*snigger*) before the word battery was coined. But it still makes me snigger.

gettit now. The reverse gear on the Land Rover normally is somewhere top left.
Only on older gearboxes like the LT77 or RRC 4-speed. The R380, for example, had reverse behind fifth.

The last 3 letters on the reg of my Dad's Octavia are VAG.

He bought an old Passat to use as a work shed and the last 3 letters on that were TRD.

My Dad's reg ends with PUF. He's seriously considering getting a private plate.

But his boyfriend won't let him.

I don't eat Asparagus very much, but Sugar Puffs do that to me. And coffee. Maybe I'm just a bit, erm? Weird?

Must have been friends but I pulled up at a set of lights this morning behind a Skoda Labia in the left lane and a Volkswagen Asshat in the outside lane. I laughed a lot.

Carmen Dell'Orefice!!!! WTF? Sounds a lot like Orifice. Which I'm sure General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett VC DSO would find rather rude
