Rather large fence posts at my garden centre today!

My turn to be a bit thick I fear...

Anyone?

0.75m is a lot wider than the posts are, which is 75mm or 0.075m.

I had to collect a small parcel for my mum from the post office as someone had forgotten to put a stamp on it. Paid £2.19. Took it to my mums house. she opened it.

It was from the Alzheimer's society!

My dad has the disease. Still made me laugh.

This happens a lot with the Telegraph - it feels like they don't even bother putting copy through a spell checker let alone proof reading it.

They reported a while back that Russia was going to ban certain people from driving on the grounds of safety - transsexuals, transgender people, and "people with prophetic limbs" (sic). Presumably a limb that can predict the future would make you a safer driver, not a less safe one. smile
