There was a guy at a place I used to work called Alex Chisholm. I used to pish myself everytime they shouted him over the Tannoy but nobody else could see the funny side.

Many years ago I had a colleague whose surname was "Oddy". All was fine until he got married. His wife's name, Nicola. Their bank manager called them at home to ask her to sign cheques with "Nicola Oddy" as her signature, instead of "N.Oddy".
