Clarkson looks like the kid we used to bully at school. Does anyone think they may be related?

That said I think the May has"victim" stamped on his forehead

I'm sure there's a thread somewhere for thread titles together, but I can't find it.

Last night on the M3 I saw a builders lorry with a wide-head broom stored upright in one of the vertical tubes of the tipper mechanism - common enough thing to see, nothing out of the ordinary there.

But what amused me greatly in a juvenile way was the fact that the slipstream had caught it in such a way as it was rotating, and it looked for all the world like the lorry was equipped with radar. hehe

Yup same problem, but @ my MIL's place, it's as per your picture. She has a standard hole, but bought a narrow cooker. I think a chippy would make a better job than me.

That reminds me seeing a tanker driver at a petrol station in Harrow many years ago. He was standing on the cab roof with a massive dipstick which looked like a sword such as a Matador might use to administer the coup-de-grace to a bull. If I'd had a camera I would have photographed him about to dip the forward compartment of the tanker and captioned it " Olé!" biggrin
