New team member started Thursday. Name : Fanny.
Here in Euroland that is not the least bit amusing except to me.
So far have held it together but i cant stand much more.
"Before we start the meeting we should go get Fanny"
"Where's Fanny" (im a northerner so happy to exclude the overrated THE)
"Is that Fanny?"
"Have you seen fanny?"
Late for a meeting "Ahhh, here's fanny"
She approaches the tea table outside someone shouts out "Hej Fanny!"
The worst so far was just a a plain straight call out by a colleague as she went past. "Faaannnnnnnneeeee"
That had my chin against my neck with a trembling lower jaw.
Sorry, not fanny.

Not really juvenile but one of those things that makes you laugh and eek at the same time....

13yr old daughter been struggling with some Computer Science homework. Suggested she talk to 12yr old son of family friends who's a coding whizz:

Mrs Speed 3 shouts out "Freya, Oscar's FaceTiming in 2 minutes about your homework....make sure you've got some clothes on....."

Oh the joys of being a Dad of 2 girls in the conected 21st century yikes

Hilarious, I know.

Corbyn has a massive following amongst the 'grass roots' labour members - hence why he's where he is.
fcensoredd?

Corbyn's vote in the leadership election 251,417

Total votes for labour in the general election 9,347,304

Seems to me that the PLP has a bigger popular mandate than Corbyn by a factor slightly in excess of 37 to 1

That has to be worth a snigger
