Looking at Spurt Lane reminded me of one in my town; Jeffries Passage, always makes me chuckle when I go up it, or even down it!!

A few things i've heard while living there

"Just take a right on to fannyside road, and then turn right after fannyside loch. Watch out, it might be moist"

"Warning: resuracing works on fannyside road. Use rear passage"

Subsequently debunked, I believe. Also, not so much juvenile snigger material as a massive fail

One of the workshop lads has been working in the office this week, hence he's wearing formal shirt and trousers, rather than his workclothes.

One of the older engineers saw him and loudly declared "Blimey Joe, I didn't recognise you with your shirt and trousers on" hehe

Cue much mirth, even some of the older set were giggling at him.

At the end of Law and Order,the producer's name always makes me cringe;
Dick Wolf.
I just imagine some especially horrendous STD.

The missus spotted this one.

The IPL was on the telly in the bar we were in last night and she noticed that often the centre letter of one of the sponsors name, on the back of their shirts, would be hidden by the creases.

Sponsor's name... ARISE

I've been reading a lot of early Biggles books recently. Unfortunately, the meaning of certain words has changed since they were written. Consequently, phrases such s "..'Good grief!' ejaculated Biggles in surprise.." now raise a bit of a snigger hehe
