I once saw a builders quote to 'Remove Falls Sealing'. I didn't have a clue what this meant until I twigged that he was talking about the 'False Ceiling'.

What's the deal with 14 ? Shouldn't the correct version be - "x". ? As in full stop after quotation marks... or have I missed something?

Not from PH, and not quite in keeping with the thread, but gave me a chuckle anyway. Mrs Bopper has a friend (loose term) that continually corrects people's spelling / grammar / whatever with the sort of self confidence CW would be proud of. Anyway, she wrote something in an email to me the other day that included something about a "pedal-stool". Perhaps a funny reference to "the IT crowd"? No. She honestly thought it was correct.

The problem is nobody actually reads anything any more. Unless it's the McDonalds drive 'thru' menu, or the musings of the latest big brother human scum, I don't do reading isn't it?
