I don't think that it is about consideration, what is being offer as the promotion or prise would have obvious value, so adding a token cash value would not make it any more or less valid as a contract

The V6 is lack luster compared to the old V6, it feels like it has a very heavy fly wheel.

First of all i would like to say Hi to you all.
Now my first post is one about the DVLA who removed my car with out any pre warning. Its a long drawn out story because i had moved into a new address after spending quite a wile homless and the car was my home for most of that time. It was not declared sorn as i had no address and no means to do anything. I had tried to communicate with the dvla on several occasions but constanty put on hold or they just were not helpfull.
Long story short is they came to remove someone elses car that had a notice on it with a clamp .. the car is question was then stripped to a bare shell so they lifted mine instead with all my tools in the back and some personal efects that cant be replaced.... thiis was late in september and its only now i am fining out my rights. I called the police thinking car was stolen but as the norm they were not interested to help . After a few days i found out where it had gone so called the dvla again.. they gave me a nimber to call of the depot it was stored in and all i got from them was pay up or it gets crushed.... i tried to call them again leaving my name and number on answer machine but they never called back..... I had just replaced the windscreen batteries and got it ready for MOT. I suffer with depression so tend to drag my heels a bit at times. considering the time what can i do about it?
If anyone can help i would be greatfull. Just for the record it was an Isuzu trooper long wheel base on an R plate.

I'd of thought the pilot knew about the satellite pinging

I wouldn't of thought a commercial pilot would be able

I would wonder if there is some issue with allinement or poor accident repair being hidden by new tyres if I was looking at it as a buyer!!!! would say its better to let someone use the worn tyres as bargaining tool ,most canny buyers look for something and tyres are a nice simple issue...

Hey guise!

Got a bit of an issue..

My rear wheel in my Suzuki Swift 1.5 VVTs started making a knocking noise the other day it started slow and as i accelerated it got faster and faded out as i went over 20ish, then it came back as i slowed down.

I first thought (and so did others) it has to be the wheel bearing and it sounds like it. But when I jacked it up to spin it to check if it was the bearing it had some play (side to side) only when pushed. I have a feeling some of the nuts where loose so I did them up to the best of my ability but I will get a garage to do it properly.

The next thing stumped me, the hand break was on yet the back wheel still spun freely absolutely nothing stopping it. When trying the other back wheel that was firm.

As I'm not much of a mechanical car person I haven't got a clue what could be wrong.

I thought I'd rather ask here before taking it to a garage as they will charge me shed loads just trying to figure out what is wrong.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks,

tobinen

Is this for the imperial 'ton' as opposed to the metric 'tonne'?
