For the price of about a two beers a week, yes, came in handy when it went tits up, new box in two days.
Each to their own, we also insure our cooker, after three years or so a jar of something or another broke leaking its fluid down the side of the cooker penetrating the insulation.
Turned on oven, started bellowing smoke. Insurance replaced it with a new cooker within three days. Anyway, what's on tonight.

We have just had a small extension put up ..building regs approved with an aritect doing the drawings...we were told no planning permission was needed...the build has finished and next door complained to planning...after they came out they said we needed retrospective planning as a part of land 1 metre by 3 metre s next to are neibours party wall needed it...this has been put in and we have been told this should go through no probs....now we have just found that the same neibour has had a double extension on the side of his house with planning but he has put up a conservatory at the back the full length of his house without it...he put it up 5 years ago..now can I complain to planning and get anything done...he has gone over his 70 cubic metres of planning..any help would be good

I agree you are best out of the place but I understand your grievence. You really need to get expert legal advice, but hopefully a few useful pointers.
In your shoes I would use a friend to get a reference to find out what they are say, prefereable before you do anything else.
I would file an official grievence complaint but given their attitude I suspect you won't get very far.
Time is intangable I don't see how it can be called theft and I image this is what you find galling.
All employees are legally entitled to breaks under the working time directive. Commericial drivers are not only entitled but legal required to take breaks, you will have to work out which if any apply from here.

When you say, strange practices what do you mean?

Promo emails are handled by a centralised team, so I am unaware of what they are sending out.
I will have a word to see where they are getting their list from for these promotional emails and see what is happening with the terms on PH vs the listing... bare with me.
