If you agree a direct debit, then the first year of donations will be split between the chugger and his employer. It is only after the first year that your donation goes to the charity.

I quite enjoy such comments - they make me realise that no matter how shallow I might be on occasion, I can never match the general populous.

I have to admit I do feel like that. To me its just become too commercialized now, when stuff is in the shops 3 months before the event I do get a little erked. I've seen creme and mini eggs on the shop floor already and its still December.

To me its just not special anymore.
Think I'd be 'erked' if I saw creme eggs on the floor of a shop too.

I'd like to here from a lawyer on this... Simply but in whatever line of business, would a contract be allowed where you can take money from people and then include in the terms and conditions that we reserve the right to give you nothing for your money if we so decide for whatever reason.

Now when I ran a company - if I'd included in my terms and conditions that I could keep deposits for whatever so reason I chose I'd have been laughed out of a court room, trading standards would have ripped me up. So why do people think that it's acceptable in this environment.

Where do you begin with this one?
Getting the make of your own car wrong is probably difficult enough but given that it is on the rocker cover and the steering wheel in the pictures of his ad is special and that is only the start of it.

Also, perhaps someone might wish to explain to him what a classic car is.

That may have been deliberate, in conversation I have often been known to refer to Eastenders and other programmes of a similar level (Downton Abbey, Coronation Street etc) as dribble.
