Ah, yes. Thanks...

William Shakespeare said:
"Full fathom five thy father lies,

Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes,
Nothing of him that doth fade,
But doth suffer a sea-change,
into something rich and strange,
Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell,
Ding-dong.

Hark! now I hear them, ding-dong, bell."

For a precis of my view you can read the posts between Walm and I.
not really spelling but prepositions take the accusative, dative or ablative case (I think)
Is it not nominative case being used instead of oblique?

There's certainly a missing comma.
You've lost me I'm afraid
The comma is a possibility, but I read the sentence without a break the way I'd have said it to the person if we were face to face, i.e., without a pause after 'view'. Like a number of grammar rules these things can boil down to personal opinion. English/English or American/English (well we know where we stand on that one). Modern English or old English, or somewhere 'twixt the two. There are, of course, a number of hard and fasts..such as starting sentences with a capital and ending with a full stop, but this is the internet and a certain informality applies otherwise we'd all be dating, signing, and Dear Sir-ing our posts!

As to the correct usage of prepositions I feel there's only one other way to rewrite the sentence in question and that's "..myself and Walm", but I felt that was slightly clumsy. Any other suggestions?

In the absence of a verb in which you could both participate, I'd recommend "Walm and me".

perhaps it's time for a sea change in attitude by the vast majority.

Now, I'm prepared to be 'outed' as a bit thick, but what exactly is the fault with this sentence? Apart from missing a capital letter at the beginning, I can't see it. Even then, the capital letter's absence could easily be explained by the quoting.
It's possible that I'm the one to be 'outed' here! frown
I believed that the phrase should have read "seed change" but after reading your comment above I did some googling only to find that no less a person than 'The Bard' actually used the phrase "sea change".
I will, therefore, withdraw my criticism and go back to sleep, perchance to dream! getmecoat

Surprisingly an ambulance done exactky this today. A car turned left who was infront of the ambulance, a car on the opposite side of the road wanted to get out so the ambulance just stopped dead and let the car out.
I'll never understand why people do it if it makes the cars behind have to stop/ brake hard.
