At the risk of raising an earler debated topic about differing speeds shown on one gantry - I hold my hand up to seeing one tonight -

Approaching J8 North on the M6 -its always a bit frought because J7 has two lanes joining - the inner lane being the ex - hard shoulder, running to the M5 south. Anyway the OH gantry on the approach was showing 30 for lane 1 and 50 for lanes 2 & 3. Following the sign I get ready to get into the inner lane to take the M5 - low and behold a stationary car. The next Gantry then had a red cross. Cue confusion all round.

Depends how much you want it back? Call a tree surgeon and ask him to retrieve it for you, might not even cost that much or higher a cherry picker.

It makes absolute sense to me, to "higher" a cherry-picker, if'n how ye want to retrieve summat out't top o' tree. You just need to make sure that you "lower" it again before you take it back to the hire centre... wink
